News: Hacker Dojo Needs a Few Good Dollars (for Nerds)

«      »

There’s this amazing little hackerspace in California called Hacker Dojo–if you’re ever in town you should check it out–and they’re looking for a few good dollars. As someone who uses a lot of facilities at my college to do my work, I wholeheartedly understand the need for spaces for developers, hackers, inventors, and innovators to work their magic. Without my computer lab and my garage, I would be dead in the water with most of what I do in the story of Black Hat Magick. In many ways, this is all about how reality follows fiction. For the full story, check out Kyt Dotson’s post on SiliconANGLE.

If you’re into doing your own research, see below:

Right now, Hacker Dojo has a Kickstarter project to help keep their community space up and running and at the same time they’re auctioning off time with very smart people from their developer community— they’ll spend an hour with you and talk about all things geek, business, or even just hang out and let you bask in their radiance (or in one case plan a party.)

It’s not just a good cause, it’s a cause that should touch the hearts and minds of geeks everywhere.
